Pickleball Events Group is excited to work with local charities to enrich the lives of others through the sport of pickleball. Donations made to Pickleball Events Group can be designated to specifically assist with these efforts.
Turning Point's mission is to provide men with substance use disorder an opportunity to discover a new life in recovery through proven evidence based programs with a Christ centered emphasis. The men at Turning Point use various activities throughout their recovery. PEG was able to teach the staff and residents about pickleball to enhance their available activities.
Pickleball Events Group donated money from the Alabama Open, provided paddles and balls, and played games with the staff and residents.
The Jimmie Hale Mission men’s center has been helping the homeless and addicted for more than 75 years. We offer a 15-week Christ-centered recovery program for up to 85 clients. Our exclusive Active Recovery curriculum utilizes core principles to establish healthy practices in the physical, spiritual, mental, social, and vocational areas of every client’s life.
Pickleball Events Group was able to layout a court for the clients at Jimmie Hale Mission.
